What to Expect

A photoshoot begins with a consultation to discuss and map out your needs and desires. I provide a full sample flow and example shots as a starting point. I work with you to select a group of pictures you would like as outcomes. This forms the base of the photo ssession. That however is only the base, on top of that we also discuss your ideas and inetegrate additional shots that you want above and beyond that base. Finally I leave time for the magical. The very best spontaneous moments are what we live for. Mom's, Dad's, Babies, Siblings and their interaction are often the dazzling, lovely, tear inducing moments we are looking for.

On the day of the shoot we follow a low stress, low fuss flow. I know what works and we'll get those basic shots done progressing from one to another with some laughter during the process. Enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, a fresh baked muffin and have a break with us. We'll discuss the next steps, progressing to new ideas that arise, following inspiration to capture something magic. 

Your baby is going to be loved and taken care of. The expectant mom is going to be treated with respect and understanding. I have been there. (Three times!) Now a Grandmother, I bring perspective, knowledge and a love of children.
